Hey, thought I might chime in
I just phoned the shop and it got sold very quickly unfortunately.
This is what the owner of the shop were I went last week in Paris told me too : nobody ever asks for these basses, but they always order some for their stock anyway, and once they're in the shop they always sell pretty quickly.
There I tried a 4 and a 5 string, a passion and an arpege, both fantastic instruments really.
They are a bit on the heavy side, that's true, but the balance is just perfect and this is more important to me than sheer weight. Even more so on a 6 string, which I was told they're not making anymore apparently.
In the 90s some guy I knew had my absolute dream vigier as his main bass : 6 string, full carbon neck, and amethyst
Now I'm a total vigier newbie but AFAIK carbon neck means series I or II, right ?
Or should I pry it from your cold dead hands ?

I think this is not true. All 6-strings ever made are Series III also the one advertised.
