Hello Guys![:D]
First thing, entshuldigung ich erinerrte mich nicht deutsche Sprache ,
zu viele jahren [;-)]

I'm italian ,And On some sources in the net i found some people wondering about "Fmc "cabs..
On the net There Are NO infos in english, except some post on the american forum "talkbass".

I would like to get some Experiences From The users,
And What those Cabinets "sound alike" ("close to epifani -tone "or similar) ,
I understand it's an Handmade manufacturer ,so it's Impossible
to put in an "exact category"
..nevertheless i would like to read Your Thoughts ,if possible
(from people who bother to write in english)

I was curious from awhile ,i 've waited some time to find infos ,but in the long time just german sources popped out .

Sorry for Bother You..and if English is forbidden by that forum-rules,
My apologies In advance
Danke schòn[;-)]

I dont think english is forbidden by any means..this is a very "free" forum, so welcome to you! [:-)]
I cant tell you much about the sound of fmc-cabs yet, but I will in the near future, as I am waiting for my almost finished 4x10 cab, neodym-speakers, lightweight, specially made to my wishes by hans, the owner of fmc. the big advantage is that he listens to your wishes, soundwise, and
considers your thougts when he is building the cab. when I told him I would like a system that is very natural, no colouring, as I am playing electric and acoustic basses, he told me he could build a cab very similar in sound to the glockenklang neo. he picks different speakers and builds the cab so it sounds to your needs. the prices are very attractive I think and hans is a nice guy to talk to.
I think it wont be long an others, already using a fmc-built-cab will tell you more about it.
all the best

There are many members of this forum that use FMC Cabs and are very satisfied with them. Here is the website of the manufacturer. It is written in german but you can get a clue what this speakers can look like.

Soundwise, it is possible to order your cabinet as you want it to sound. They offer different speakers, different cabinetshapes and styles and also do real custom jobs.
I listend to some cabs from the NEO-series and they can be compared to stuff like Genz-Benz or Epifani, as FMC offers the same speakers (Eminence Noedymium) as on option.

Thank you.
I guess Is Impossible, based of what You say (handmade with many specs) ,to read a certain "charachter" on those cabs.

hello alexlotta,

thanks for your interest in my cabs. If you now what type of sound you want then I can build it very close to the original.
It´s also no problem to get a cab with for example Ampeg oldschool look but absolut linear, clean Sound like many modern Cabs have today.
But you can also get the oldschool Ampeg Sound if you want, it´s your choice !
However, if you have questions write to my regular Email adress:

hans@fmc-audio.de

greez,

Hans
