For sale is a very rare 1983 Warwick Nobby Meidel - this is number 19! Included in the sale is the original stand, strap extender, straplocks and a brand new ABS hard case to protect the bass during transport!
The bass was built in 1983 and is completely original except for the strap extension, the straplock buttons and straplocks and of course the strings!
The bass has been well cared for, but as you would expect with a 40 year old instrument, it shows signs of wear and some other small cosmetic imperfections - all of which you can see in the photos. Please note that I can only upload 10 photos on this site. So check out my Google Photo Album to see more photos and please pay attention to the last 8 photos as they show the cosmetic flaws.

The bass was recently reconditioned by a local luthier. It has just been strung with new strings and readjusted.
The truss rod has also been checked and works perfectly. I will include an Allen key to adjust the truss rod as normal keys will not fit due to tight access.
As you would expect from a 40 year old bass, the frets show some wear, but they still have plenty of life left in them.
The weight is 3.23Kg/7.12lbs
Here are the details on this particular bass. These details were kindly provided to us by Warwick CEO Hans-Peter Wilfer:
