Hello, bass brothers!
I quitted playing live in my main band - temporary (I hope!) health problems -, so I will sell almost all my gear.
Specs:
- vintageburst, mate finish
- khaya (African mahogany) body
- 5-piece maple neck. I see only 3, but this is the information on the official website. Maybe they counted the extra pieces for the headstock (there are 5, it’s true)
- pao ferro fingerboard, 9.45” radius, 20 ‘banjo-sized’ frets
- 34”-36.25” scale
- weighs aprox. 3.5 Kg
- Hipshot tuners
- Dingwall individual string bridge units made by Hipshot
- 19 mm string spacing at the bridge
- Dingwall FD3n, Neodymium magnets
- passive electronics (Vol. + 4-Position Quad-Tone pickup selector + Passive tone)
- Dunlop Straplok
- Dingwall Stainless Steel BEAD strings. The nut was professionally adapted by a luthier. The bass can be equipped with EADG strings, of course.
- original padded gigbag in mint condition
For extra info, please visit the official website: dingwallguitars.com/bass/d-roc-standard
Also there are a lot of video clips on youtube.
The sound is HUGE, despite of light weight of the bass. I played metal and the bass was perfect for that. A lot of pressure and presence in the sound. Also, it was a pleasure to play it, the balance is really perfect, no neck dive at all.
The bass is almost new, it has only few very superficial scratches (impossible to catch in the pictures)… don’t forget it has a mate finish.
Thank you!
