For sale is probably the most beautiful Ibanez BTB I've ever seen - 1305E Prestige. It was a very short series, produced only in 2008, Made in Korea.
But wait - Prestige and Korea? Isn't Prestige only and exclusively Made in Japan? Well, no - almost two decades ago, Ibanez moved the production of a few top models to the Peninsula. The reason was obvious: physical proximity of factories with much lower labor costs. However, the experiment did not work out. Although the quality of the guitars was great, the market considered them too expensive for "Korean". Production of Prestiges returned to Nippon, and guitars from this series became... even more expensive.
It happens.
One of the biggest advantages of cheaper production was that Ibanez could put fancy very fancy specs in. As for the 1305E, we got not only the top model of Bartolini Custom USA pickups, but also a three-band Bartolini ITMB preamp (significantly better than the traditional Ibanez Vari-Mid). The wide neck (19mm string spacing) has two trussrods and titanium stabilizing bars, the headstock has solid Gotoh tuners, and the top of the mahogany body and headstock has beautiful pieces of flamed maple on. The Japanese also decided to use a neck-thru-body construction, a 35 scale and a monorail bridge.
The result is a well-made, lightweight (4 kg) and responsive ax with a universal, balanced sound. The BTB is also incredibly comfortable thanks to the very low action of the strings and the slim, yet wide neck.
I rate the bass condition as very good with one minus: the guitar has one abrasion on the larger "horn", a few dings on the bottom and a slight trace from slapping, where the thin varnish is worn off. The frets are ok, Both rods work perfectly.
I am selling it together with a used hard case.
To be played in Poznań, Poland (!!), safe shipping will not be a problem.
Private sale, reduction of personal collection, therefore no returns, warranty, etc. If you have any questions - don't hesitate to ask.
Check out my other ads - I'm selling off some really great mainly made in Japan basses.
