Hello everyone !
I am selling this bass to finance a new purchase.
Here is a very beautiful Dingwall Afterburner I 6 String in excellent condition. I think that the reputation of the Canadian Dingwall is well established as they are distinctive and effective instruments.
We are therefore on a passive 6 string with a multi-scale from 37 to 33.25 inches, everything is original, and no problems to report.
You can hear an exact equivalent here:
For sounclips of this bass in particular I can make them on request without any problem.
Here are the complete characteristics of this bass:
Body: Two-piece alder
Top: Flamed maple 5A
Neck: Maple 5 pieces
Fingerboard: Wenge
Trussrod: 1 double action in excellent condition and perfectly functional
Tuners: Hipshot Ultralight
Markers: White dots on the fingerboard and edge
Scale: 37 to 33.25 inches
Frets: 24 silver/nickel mandolin type frets in excellent condition
Microphones: Dingwall FD3 (for me better and angrier than the FDV)
Preamp: N/A
Controls: Volume - Microphone selection (Neck/Series/Parallel/Bridge)
Bridge: Hipshot for Dingwall
String spacing at the bridge: 18mm
Finish: Gloss on the body and satin on the neck
Hardware colors: Black
The action at the 12th fret under the B string is currently 2.25mm and 1.5mm under the C string. You can still descend without any problem without frieze and I adjusted the handle almost perfectly straight to have a nice growl.
Comes with a deluxe Gator case in new condition. The strings are also in very good condition.
Year of manufacture: 2012
Country of manufacture: Canada
Weight: 4.2kg
Price: 2500€
The only "defect" of this bass is a second hole drilled by the previous owner for another straplock, you can put a clip back there or have it resealed very easily.
I can send the bass wherever you want, I'm used to it.
No exchange possible because I am financing a new purchase.
We can discuss, I'm open so don't hesitate and the bass can be tested next to Metz on many amps.
See you soon !
