An extremely nice bass guitar for sale: a Japanese Fernandes FRB-70 from 1986. True Made in Japan, not the later Fernandes-made Koreans or Chinese - this is important, because models of this brand are often incorrectly marked.
"Revolvers", as they were called, are a very original design: a tiny, light alder body (the guitar weighs about 3 kg!), a compact headstock, two powerful active FGI humbuckers and a 32-inch scale, i.e. medium. In addition, a very slim, narrow (38 mm on the saddle) neck. It's small, handy, and sounds... like a mini Rickenbacker. Seriously. There is plenty of low end that has a nice contour and doesn't spread out aimlessly, and at the same time there is plenty of high end with the right "twang". Fernandes is suitable for both the pick and the slap - you can do all the licks in the world with no effort.
The guitar is technically in excellent condition, and visually - in very good. The only noticeable defects are typical for such guitars and a non-deepening cracks near the neck pocket and the last tuning key on the headstock. You can see it clearly in the photos - I think it will last another 40 years.
To be played in Poznań, Poland, but I can safely ship it everywhere in the EU.
I won't trade it (unless it's for an interesting fretless with lines) - my collection has grown to a ridiculous size and I need to make some (a lot) of space, so I invite you to check out my other ads.
