I am selling a great Bass Collection SB611 guitar from the SGC Nanyo stable. Produced specifically for the British market in the early 90s, the 611 is the top model of this line - you can see and feel it in every detail. Gold Gotoh hardware (tuners and bridge), brass nut, maple body with a thick walnut top, ebony fingerboard - this is definitely the top tier specs. Richness is also visible in the satin-finished neck made of three pieces of maple; Although it is narrow and slender, it lies very securely in the hand.
The bass is very light, weighing 3.3 kg.
The combination of maple, walnut and ebony gives a very springy, punctual sound with a lot of highs, which was additionally enhanced by getting rid of the preamp and inserting an active EMG X set. The ax originalyl has four knobs - now the hole after one of them serves as a jack socket. The original input from the bottom is empty, but you can easily return to the native layout: I still have the factory preamp and pickups. With the EMG, however, the guitar is a real slap machine, and on the neck pickup it sounds... like a real ash PB bass.
I rate the condition as good with a big plus - the bass has slight abrasions from thumb and slapping, but apart from that it looks great. The hardware is still gold, the frets have only slight marks, and we will not find any bruises on the body. The "scar" visible near the upper corner is not damage, but a natural mark on the wood. The trussrod works perfectly, the action is set below 1.5 mm above the 12th fret.
Bass to be played in Poznań, Poland, safe shipping (within the EU!) will not be a problem.
